Kimberly Choquette received a B.S. in biochemistry at West Chester University in 2008 and started her PhD work at Lehigh University in Bethlehem, PA working for Prof. Flowers. In her PhD work, she studied the effect that additives commonly used in Sm-mediated syntheses have on the kinetics and overall mechanism of well-known organic reactions – identifying many nuances previously overlooked in the systems. While not in lab, Kim likes running with her dog and cooking.
