Knowles receives Grammaticakis-Neumann Prize

Robert Knowles, a Princeton assistant professor of chemistry, has been awarded the 2017 Grammaticakis-Neumann Prize from the Swiss Chemical Society. This prize is given to a promising young scientist for outstanding independent research in photochemistry, photophysics or molecular photobiology under the age of 40. Professor Knowles was cited for his work in exploiting excited state proton-coupled electron transfer reactions in organic synthesis. The prize is awarded bi-annually as of 2015. Read more about the award here.
