RNA Crystallization Using Antibody Chaperones
Despite significant progress in RNA structure determination, obtaining high quality RNA crystals remains challenging. I will describe a new approach to RNA crystallization that exploits the properties of antibody fragments in facilitating crystallization. Topics discussed will include how to engineer antibodies that bind RNA using phage display approaches as well as the use of these affinity reagents in crystallization and structure determination of challenging RNA enzymes.
