Single Crystal X-ray Diffraction

The Department of Chemistry has installed two new x-ray diffraction instruments dedicated to small molecule analysis in Frick Laboratory, Room B26. These instruments feature the most current generation of X-ray sources, cameras and low temperature sample handling capabilities for small molecule structural analysis. Students may receive training and assistance to operate the machines from facility manager, Dr. Phil Jeffrey. Alternatively, Dr. Jeffrey can undertake the structure determination on behalf of students.
