Groves appointed as the 2014 Rayson Huang Visiting Lecturer in Chemistry

John T. Groves, the Hugh Stott Taylor Chair of Chemistry at Princeton University, has been appointed the 2014 Rayson Huang Visiting Lecturer in Chemistry at the University of Hong Kong.

The Visiting Lectureship was established in 1987, following the retirement of Dr. Rayson Huang, former Vice-Chancellor of the University of Hong Kong. Professor Groves will be invited to the University of Hong Kong in 2015 to interact with students, staff and faculty and deliver public lectures on his research.

The Lectureship is awarded annually to a prominent chemist in the field. The appointment includes an honorarium of HK$15,000 per week for up to one month. Congratulations to Professor Groves on this wonderful achievement.
