Single Crystal X-ray Diffraction

The Department of Chemistry has installed two new X-ray diffraction instruments (Rigaku XtalLAB Synergy-S dual source XRD with large theta HyPix-Arc 100° detector) dedicated to small molecule analysis in Frick Laboratory. These instruments feature the most current generation of X-ray sources, cameras and low temperature sample handling capabilities for small molecule structural analysis.

Students may receive training and assistance to operate the machines from facility director, Venu Vandavasi.
