Dr. Kagy is a Senior Data Scientist in the Research division at Google’s New York City office, and is currently leading initiatives in the area of active learning. He earned his PhD in Economics from Princeton in 2011. Dr. Kagy will share insights on his journey from graduate school to consulting and tech, on becoming a data scientist at Google, and his perspectives on how careers in data science will evolve in the coming years.
