Research Focus

Corey Clapp earned a B.A. in chemistry from Amherst College in 2011, and a Ph.D. in chemistry and chemical biology from Harvard University in 2019 where he researched chemistry of the stratosphere and convectively induced ozone loss. As a Postdoctoral Fellow and Research Associate at Harvard University, he expanded the frontiers of his research to include the global distribution of extreme weather and the impacts of climate change. As an atmospheric chemist he has conducted research at the intersection of chemistry, meteorology, and climate and has specialized in chemistry and climate modeling and large-scale data analysis.
