Knowles receives 2017 Camille Dreyfus Teacher-Scholar Award

Robert Knowles, who was recently promoted to full professor of chemistry at Princeton University effective July 1, has been selected as a 2017 Camille Dreyfus Teacher-Scholar.

The award was given to 13 young faculty who have “created an¬†outstanding independent body of scholarship and are deeply committed to education.” Scholars receive unrestricted research grants to develop their programs.

Knowles was recognized for his work in proton-coupled electron transfer in organic synthesis and asymmetric catalysis.
