Knowles receives 2017 Camille Dreyfus Teacher-Scholar Award

Robert Knowles, who was recently promoted to full professor of chemistry at Princeton University effective July 1, has been selected as a 2017 Camille Dreyfus Teacher-Scholar.

The award was given to 13 young faculty who have “created an outstanding independent body of scholarship and are deeply committed to education.” Scholars receive unrestricted research grants to develop their programs.

Knowles was recognized for his work in proton-coupled electron transfer in organic synthesis and asymmetric catalysis.
