Students planning to enter the chemistry department must follow the procedure shown below:

Concentration Declaration Spring 2021

 

The concentration declaration period for Spring 2021 is March 25 - April 15, 2021.  The Chemistry department open house in Zoom webinar format is scheduled for March 23 at 7:30pm.

If you have questions about the department after viewing the presentation, please email Dr. L’Esperance or Dr. VanderKam.

 

Declaring the Chemistry Concentration:           

 

  1. Declare your intention to concentrate in Chemistry on the University website.  You will receive instructions from your Residential College.  Completion of this step will allow your chosen department access to your academic record.
  2. Complete the Departmental Academic Planning Form (DAPF in TigerHub). You must submit your completed DAPF before meeting with Dr. L’Esperance, the Director of Studies in Chemistry and Junior Class advisor.
  3. Schedule a WASE meeting with Dr. L’Esperance
  4. Dr. L’Esperance will review your course selection with you.  After your DAPF is approved for you courses for the coming semester, you can enroll in courses from Wednesday, April 14 from 7:30am - 11:59pm.
